New Wish List Item – A GoPro Camera

goproAs you know, our clouded leopards are nocturnal creatures. They do most of their activities at night. In order to properly monitor them and make sure they are getting enough exercise, and enrichment, we need to be able to video them at night. So, we’ve added a GoPro camera to our wishlist.

The GoPro camera will be durable enough to withstand the potential “smacking” the clouded leopards may give it. It will also offer us high resolution video of our clouded leopards, which we will share on our web site and on facebook.

If you’d like to help out, please follow this link to Amazon.com. Contact us if you need more information.

Thanks for all your support!

Brandy has a new home

Brandy the CougarThis 7 year old cougar came to us from the West coast of Florida where she was set to be put down. Brandy was illegally purchased when she was just a cub. Her owners had no knowledge about how to handle a cougar cub. They gave her up as a 2 year old, and she has not been interacted with since that time. We were told she was an aggressive cat, but she has proven to us to be just the opposite.

Panther Ridge is very pleased to say she has found her forever home with us.

Welcome home Brandy!

Visit Brandy’s official web site page.

Let’s Welcome Audrey To Her New Home.

Audrey Audrey is a 19 year old Florida Panther who was rescued by Panther Ridge Conservation Center…….she was in ill health and of no use to her previous owner, who was going to euthanize her.

She is a beautiful cat, but allowed to become extremely obese through a poor dietary management. We are hoping to bring her back to health and trim her down, so that she may again be a flagship for her rare species.

Welcome home Audrey.

See more photos of Audrey on her official website page.
